This person has his own superb content in terms of intrinsic theory, understanding theory or moral theory: in the theory, these great people of all things have exceeded the limitations of materialism and mind, and have truly realized the state of unity between man and nature; in the theory, they also solve the difficulties in idealistic materialism; in the theory of moral theory, their moral character doubles the origin and complete. The learning of a big man is also the learning of Yang Ming’s confidant. Yang Ming’s confidant learning and the “Four Sentences Teaching” of the mind are both based on the foundation of the study of the people. In the distinction between the great gentlemen of Yangming, we will understand the purpose of his great people more deeply: Yangming’s detailed distinction is compared with Confucius and Mencius, and there are changes in its connotation and level. The detailed distinction between Confucius and Mencius was proposed under the conditions of separation of Taoism, which is generally more broad. There are too many discussions on Yangmingxin or confidant learning. But few students notice Yang Ming’s big thoughts. [1] This article will show the learning of the young people from four levels, namely the aspirations of the big people, the purpose of the big people, the detailed distinction, the trap of the big people, etc. On these four layer bases, we tried to evaluateIts learning is a big person.

 

1, The aspirations of the people

 

Wang Yangming has been determined to be a big man since he was a child. The people here include saints and good Han. His idol is very clear: Wen is a saint of the ages; Wu Yu is a famous Donghan official, Ma Yuan.

 

When Yang Ming was eleven, he once asked the teacher of a private school, “What is the first thing?” The teacher replied, “You can only read books and get to the next level.” Wang Shouren was suspicious of this and said politely: “It is probably not the first thing to read books and learn the holy priests.” [2] Such a big mind and magnanimity surprised the teacher and teacher of the private school.

 

When he was fifteen years old, he went out to Juyongguan with his father, “and felt sorry for his ambition to explore all directions.” [3] Soon he had a dream, and he went to pay homage to Fubo to the military and the horse’s aid. After waking up, he immediately wrote a poem: “The scroll of armor came to Ma Fubo, and his early military books were full of hair. The clouds buried copper pillars and thunder were broken, and the six-character essays were not yet worn.” [4]

 

This aspiration of civil and military accompanied him throughout his life.

 

When he was thirty-four years old, he began to advocate the learning of body and mind, and there were seekers who came to see him. Yang Ming told these people that in order to learn, one must “first establish one’s ambitions as a saint” [5]. It can be seen that the ambitions of saints who originated from their time have not changed, but have become more and more energetic. It was also in this year that Yang Ming and Zhan Ruoshui had a close relationship with each other and “to jointly advocate the study of wise sages.” [6]

 

End of his life, Yang Ming never insisted on strengthening the ambition of a saint. As he said to the door-gods, “You really have the ambition of a saint, and your confidant will do everything.” [7] “Your Majesty is here. If you have to establish your heart as a saint, you must be the heart of a saint. At all times, you must be a stick and a mark, a piece of blood, so that you can hear every sentence of my words. If you live in a vast and silence, it is like a piece of dead flesh. , I don’t know how painful it is to beat him, and I may never be overwhelmed. When I go home, I only have to be so angry about the old-time traitors, so I’m not stingy! ”[8]

 

In my letter to friends, I often mention ambitions, as he said, “It must be the aspiration of a saint, and not be snatched by the times.” (“Answer Lubin” Yang》)[9] “After a student has established ambitions of a saint, he must be a saint, and he must be clear about his own confidant and realize his peaceful and practical directions, and naturally he will come every day.” (“Answer Liu Minzhong”)[10] “Those who learn in the later generations only have to be a saint.” (“Without “When you seek the ambition of a saint””)[11] “No one who seeks to be a saint and works in a single learning who is only good at learning can get the source of illness and cause the divine evil.” (“Thank you for your letter”)[12] “You must be a saint’s ambitions of a saint, and then you can add the only merits of oneself.” (“Cloud of Book Wang Jin”)[13], etc.

 

Yang Ming even wrote a special statement about establishing ambitions, encouraging his younger brother to establish the ambition of a saint. He said: “There is nothing to do with learning than to set ambitions. If ambitions are not established, they will not be able to achieve their roots and will only cultivate their work and be able to achieve hardships. The reason why the world followsMoreover, those who are not as good as the customs and are still suffering from defilements will not establish their goals. Therefore, Cheng Zi said: “If you have the ambition to be a saint, you can learn with me.” (“Speaking to Make Ambitions for You”) [14]

 

You can see that for Yangming, establishing ambition to become a great man is the beginning of becoming a great man, and the great man is the end. In the Yang Ming’s teachings, establishing a great ambition is the awakening of a confidant, and the final point is the clarity of a confidant. Therefore, aspiration and a confidant form a cycle, aspiration requires clarity and awareness of a confidant, while a confidant needs to achieve results and perfection. 2, The purpose of the great people and their superb location

 

So, what quality and connotation should a great person or a saint have?

 

(I) The people also regard the Liuhe and all things as one. Regarding the purpose of the people, Yang Ming had detailed handed over in “Journal of the Master” and “Big School Questions”. In these two articles, the content of the major department is the same. He said: “The big man takes Liuhe and all things as one body. However, he can take Liuhe and all things as one body.”[15] “The big man takes Liuhe and all things as one body. He sees one person in the country, and China has one person.”[16] The big man can blend into one body with Liuhe and all things as one body. So, what is a whole body of all things? Yang Ming said: “Man is the heart of the six combinations; approachable means to oneself; it is called “common and approachable, and the three talents are fully qualified.” [17]
